The Haiti Shoe Drive has been a tremendous success !

The response has been almost shocking, with well wishers
bringing in gently loved footwear from from Punta Gorda, Naples,
Alva, Ft. Myers as well as here in Cape Coral.

Many individuals purchased multiple pairs of new shoes for
children which we are sure will be greatly appreciated.

Diplomat Elementary School in Cape Coral took on the project
with great enthusiasm.
These children brought in 968 pairs of
"gently loved" shoes as well as collected $849.50 in
donations to assist the cost of shipping the shoes
to the distribution center.

Many thanks to these wonderful kids, their parents and
especially their guidance counselor, Karen Reico, along with
their fine principal and staff.

Soles 4 Souls is a non profit organization that was initiated to
help and assist Hurricane Katrina victims by providing footwear
in their time of need. Shoes are also provided to various inner
city children, national rural areas or worldwide, where ever there
is a need.

Business attire shoes are provided to various battered women’s
organizations. Soles 4 Souls is now operating  nationwide and in
72 countries across the globe.

We are anticipating future events to promote
this great cause.
